The black diamond is an extension to the Royal Library. The building was designed by architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen in 1999. The building is called the black diamond, because the facade is clad in black granite.
\nThe black diamond is very audience friendly, it contains a caf\u00e9, various exhibitions and concerts throughout the year. In addition, there are library collections where some individual collections are not for lending.<\/p>\n

My own experience:<\/strong><\/em> I have come several times to the black diamond, both for exhibitions also enjoying the sun on a hot summer on their outdoor patio. A place that offers many
\nopportunities and I a very nice place that I can recommend.<\/p>\n

In Danish:<\/em> Den sorte diamant er en tilbygning til det Kongelige bibliotek. Bygningen blev tegnet af arkitektfirmaet Schmidt Hammer Lassen i 1999. Bygningen kaldes den sorte diamant, da
\nfacaden er bekl\u00e6dt med sort granit.
\nDen sorte diamant er meget publikum venlig, den indeholder en caf\u00e9, forskellige udstillinger og koncerter i l\u00f8bet af et \u00e5r. Dertil er der bibliotekssamlinger, hvor enkelte samlinger ikke er til udl\u00e5ns.<\/p>\n

Mine egne erfaringer:<\/em> Jeg er kommet adskillige gange i Den sorte diamant, b\u00e5de til udstillinger ogs\u00e5 at nyde solen en varm sommerdag p\u00e5 deres udend\u00f8rs terrasse. \u00a0Et sted som byder p\u00e5 mange muligheder og som jeg kan anbefale.<\/p>\n
