<p>The museum is a single-artist museum located in the center of Copenhagen next to the parlement Christiansborg.<br />
The museum was designed by Michael Gottlieb and was built between 1839-1848 by a public collection in 1837.</p>
<p>The museum contains a large number of Thorvaldsen&#8217;s works such as plaster models. The<br />
museum owns a large collection of paintings, antique erotica, drawings and graphics.</p>
<p><em><strong>My own experience:</strong> </em>I have not yet visited Thorvaldsen&#8217;s Museum. I have only received positive recommendations from friends.</p>
<p><em>In Danish:</em> Museet er et enkeltkunstnermuseum som ligger i centrum af København ved siden af Christiansborg.<br />
Musset er tegnet af Michael Gottlieb og blev opført i perioden 1839-1848 efter en offentlig<br />
indsamling i 1837.</p>
<p>Museet indeholder en lang række af Thorvaldsen’s værker såsom gibsmodeller. Museet ejer en også en stor samling af malerier, antikke, erotika, tegninger og grafik.</p>
<p><em>Mine egne erfaringer:</em> Jeg har endnu ikke besøgt Thorvaldsen’s museum. Jeg har kun fået positive anbefalinger og venner og bekendte.</p>
