The Danish Design Center in Copenhagen

Danish Design Center was established in 1978 by an institution of the Commerce and Growth ministry.
Since 2000, the design center has been in the heart of Copenhagen on H.C. Andersens
Boulevard. The purpose of the design center is to promote the awareness of Danish design abroad. Design center host several exhibitions and conferences during a year.

My own experience: I have one time been inside the design center. It is an interesting house which offers different contrasts.

In Danish: Dansk design center blev oprettet i 1978 af en institution under Erhvervs- og
Vækstministeriet.
Siden 2000 har design centeret ligget i hjertet af Købehavn på H. C. Andersens Boulevard.
Formålet med design centeret er at fremme interessen og kendskabet til dansk design i
udlandet. Design centeret afholder løbende udstillinger og konferencer.

Min egne erfaringer: Jeg har været i design centeret en enkelt engang. Det er et spændende hus som byder på forskellige kontraster.
