Andersen & Maillard

Earlier this week I visited Andersen & Maillard.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a good cappuccino.

Their chocolate croissant is not greasy but ultra-fresh and crispy with a thick layer of silky dark chocolate inside the center.

Their vanilla canelé is delicious and spongy.

My own Experience: It is a great place. Quite a few people bring their computer to do some work.

In Danish: Tidligere på ugen lagde jeg vejen forbi Andersen & Maillard.

Det er længe siden, at jeg har fået så god en cappuccino.

Deres chokolade croissant er ikke fedtet, men ultra frisk og sprød med et tykt lag silkeblød mørk chokolade indeni midten.

Deres vanille canelé er fin i smagen og svampet.

Restaurant Trio

In 2017, the Michelin restaurant AOC opened a little brother called Trio. The restaurant is located in the Axel Tower just opposite the amusement park Tivoli, right in the middle of Copenhagen.

At the top of the Axel Tower building on the 9th floor you will find the restaurant Trio which with its view over Tivoli is one of the best in Copenhagen. The restaurant is minimalist and exclusive. The staff is welcoming and very service minded.

My own experience: A couple of weeks ago I ate at the Trio restaurant, where I was served 3 different very delicate and tasty dishes. I got fried monkfish with mushroom sauce and lemon verbena sorbet. I find it very refreshing to eat at a restaurant that goes its own way. It is a restaurant that I can highly recommend.

In Danish: I 2017 åbnede Michelin restauranten AOC en lillebror ved navn Trio. Restauranten ligger i Axel Tower lige over for forlystelseshaven Tivoli lige midt i København.

Øverst i bygningen Axel Tower på 9. sal finder du restaurant Trio, der med sin udsigt over Tivoli er en af de bedste i København. Restauranten er minimalistisk og eksklusivt indrettet. Personalet er imødekommende og meget servicemindet.

Mine egner erfaringer: For et par uger siden spiste jeg på restaurant Trio, hvor jeg fik serveret 3 forskellige meget delikate og velsmagende retter. Jeg fik bl.a stegt havtaske med svampesauce og citron verbena sorbet.  Jeg synes, at det er meget forfriskende at spise på en restaurant, som går deres egne veje. Det er en restaurant som jeg varmt kan anbefale.

Restaurant Sukiyaki

At Vesterbrogade close to Rådhuspladsen there is a Japanese restaurant. The entrance to the restaurant can be a bit difficult to find as the restaurant is on the first floor.
It is a restaurant that makes the most classic Japanese dishes of high quality.

The restaurant is pleasantly decorated and there is a zen atmosphere that permeates the whole place.

My own experiences: I visit the restaurant several times a year it is a restaurant like many tasty dishes on the menu. The menus are composed in a way so you taste several different Japanese food styles. I visit the place when I go to Tokyo for a night. It is a restaurant that I can highly recommend.

In Danish: På Vesterbrogade tæt på Rådhuspladsen ligger der en japansk restaurant. Selve ind-gangen til restauranten kan være lidt svær at finde, da restauranten ligger på 1. sal.
Det er en restaurant som laver de mest klassiske japanske retter af høj kvalitet.

Restauranten er behagelig indrettet og der en zen atmosfære som gennemsyrer hele stedet.

Mine egne erfaringer: Jeg besøger restauranten flere gange om året, det er en restaurant som mange velsmagende retter på menukortet, men også decideret menuer som er sammensat på en måde, så du smager flere forskellige japanske madstil. Jeg besøger stedet når jeg vil til Tokyo for en aften. Det er en restaurant som jeg varmt kan anbefale.

The American Pie Company

Right in the middle of Vesterbro is the American pie company which is a café decorated as an American cafe in warm colors. It is a café that celebrates classic American pies.
The café has a good selection of pies such as pumpkin pie but also other types of pies that you will not find anywhere else in Copenhagen.

My own experience: The other day I visited the cafe. I ordered a cafe latte and a piece of the pie “Salty banana caramel cream”. I was served a freshly made piece of good size. It is a cafe that I can highly recommend.

In Danish: Lige midt på Vesterbro ligger der The American pie company, som er en café indrettet som en amerikansk cafe i varme farver. Det er en café der hylder klassiske amerikanske tærter. Cafeen har et godt udvalg af tærter såsom græskartærter, men også andre typer tærter som du ikke finder andre steder i København.

Mine egne erfaringer: Her forleden besøgte jeg cafeen. Jeg bestilte en cafe latte og et stykke af tærten ”Salty banana caramel cream”. Jeg fik serveret et frisklavet stykke som var af god af en godt størrelse. Det er en café som jeg varmt kan anbefale.

PMY

In central Copenhagen you can find a Latin American restaurant called PMY. It is a small restaurant that makes unique and tasty dishes from Venezuela.
PMY has a fixed menu consisting of 4 dishes. Of the 4 dishes, some of the dishes are served as sharing food. You can choose to start the dinner with a small snack or bubbles.

The staff are friendly and accommodating and serve the dishes as soon as they are cooked.

My own experience: I visited the restaurant 14 days ago. It is a cozy little eatery that makes interesting and tasty Latin American dishes. It is about time that the Latin American cuisine entered Copenhagen. I can highly recommend the restaurant.

In Danish: I indre København ligger en latinamerikansk restaurant ved navn PMY. En lille restaurant som laver unikke og velsmagende retter fra Venezuela.
PMY har et fast menukort som består af 4 retter, dertil kan du som gæst vælge at starte middagen med en lille snack eller bobler. Ud af de 4 retter bliver nogle af retterne serveret som dele mad.

Personale er venlige og imødekommende og servere retterne lige så snart de er tilberedt.

Mine egne erfaringer: Jeg besøgte restauranten for 14 dage siden. Det er et hyggeligt lille spisested, som laver interessante og velsmagende latinamerikanske retter. Det er på høje tid, at det latinamerikanske køkkengør sit indtog i København. Jeg kan varmt anbefale restauranten.

Hooked

In the summer I visited restaurant Hooked which is located in the northern part of Copenhagen also calls Nørrebro. It is a restaurant that only has seafood dishes on the menu. The menu is not very large but the dishes are very different.

The restaurant also serves the popular dish “fish & chips”, however, I chose the healthy version of the dish this day.

My own experience: It was a pleasure to eat a healthy version of the classic dish “fish & chips”. The staff are friendly and open. It is a restaurant that I can highly recommend.

In Danish: I sommers besøgte jeg restaurant Hooked, som ligger i den nordlige del af København også kalder Nørrebro. Det er en restaurant som kun har fisk- og skaldyrsretter på menuen.  Menukortet er ikke særlig stort, til gengæld er retterne meget forskellige.

Restauranten servere også den populære ret ’fish & chips’, dog valgte jeg denne dag den sunde version af retten.

Mine egne erfaringer: Det var en fornøjelse at spise en sund version af den klassiske ret ’fish & chips’. Personalet er venlige og imødekommende. Det er et spisested som jeg varmt kan anbefale.

Restaurant 56 grader

Last night I visited a restaurant 56 degrees and located at Christianshavn in Copenhagen.

The weather is amazing at the moment so we chose to sit outside and have a nice dinner.
We were served different tasty and delicious snacks and dishes with a twist. It is not often that there are some popcorn in my food but it also worked with blackberry, eggs and other good.

It is a very interesting menu that is based on the season’s materials. It is menu that is constantly in motion with new dishes every 3 weeks.

My own experience: It’s been a long time since I have eaten a dinner that did not contain a single meat. On the other hand several dishes included fish which I think is absolutely perfect for those hot summer days.In Danish: I går aftes besøgte jeg restaurant 56 grader og, som ligger på Christianshavn i København.

Vejret er jo helt fantastisk i øjeblikket, så vi valgte at sidde udenfor og spise en skøn middag.
Vi fik serveret forskellige velsmagende og lækre snacks og retter med en twist. Det er ikke så tit, at der er enkelte popcorn i min mad, men det fungerede også sammen med brombær, æg og andet godt.
Det er et meget interessant menukort som tager udgangspunkt i sæsonens varer. Et kort som hele tiden er i bevægelse med nye retter hver 3 uge.

Min egne erfaringer: Det er meget længe siden, at jeg har spist en middag som ikke indeholdte en eneste kødret. Til gengæld indeholdte flere af retterne fisk, som jeg synes er helt perfekt til de her varme sommerdage.

Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen

A couple of weeks ago I visited Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen located in Copenhagen.

We meet in the restaurant Storehouse located in the hotel. A cocktail called Liquid love was served. We were also served different dishes with Faroese salmon, scallops, asparagus, lamb, sliders, apple pie and lemon fromage.
The evening also offered a tour of the hotel, where we saw different hotel apartments, their swimming pool and gym.

My own experiences: Restaurant Storehouse is super cozy and inviting which caters to both family and business. Their hotel apartments are super nice with new furniture and a nice decor. Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen is a place that I would highly recommend if you come as family but also for business purposes.

For et par uger siden besøgte jeg Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen som ligger i København.

Vi mødes i restaurant Storehouse som ligger i hotellet. Der fik serveret en cocktail ved navn Liquid love. Vi fik også serveret forskellige retter med færøsk laks, kammuslinger, asparges, lam, sliders, æbletærte og citronfromage.
Aften bød også på en rundvisning på hotellet, hvor vi så forskellige hotellejligheder, deres swimmingpool og motionsrum. Mine egen erfaringer: Restaurant Storehouse er super hyggeligt og indbydende, som henvender sig både til familie og business. Deres hotellejligheder som super lækre med nye møbler og en hyggelig indretning. Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen er et sted, som jeg varmt kan anbefale hvis du kommer som familie, men også i business øjemed.

Format

Last night I visited Restaurant Format which is located in Copenhagen city center in Skt. Annæ hotel.

The restaurant has a warm southern European atmosphere and you have the feeling of sitting on a small square in Spain.
Will Smith the Head chef has worked for several years as Assistant Head chef at Geranium Restaurant. Wills style is very different. I was served a string of delicate and tasty snacks and dishes with an international touch. The dishes are simple in their impressions but have many contrasts and fine flavors which harmonize in the best way.

For the dishes I had served wines that matched perfectly to the food.
My own experience: I have eaten at Restaurant Format a few times and it is a gastronomic experience that exceeds my expectations every time. This applies to both the food and the wines that serve in restaurants. There’s only one to say I’m a fan of Will’s food. It is a restaurant that I would highly recommend.
In Danish: I går aftes besøgte jeg restaurant Format som ligger i København centrum i Skt. Annæ hotel.

Restaurant har en varm sydeuropæisk stemning, og man har en fornemmelse af at sidde på et lille torv i Spanien.
Will Smith som er køkkenchef har arbejdet i flere år, som Assisterende køkkenchef på restaurant Geranium. Wills stil er noget andet. Jeg fik serveret en perlerække af delikate og velsmagende snacks og retter med et internationalt fingeraftryk. Retter som er enkle i deres indtryk, men har mange kontraster og fine smagsnuancer, som harmonere på bedste vis.

Til retterne fik jeg serveret vine som matchede perfekt til maden.
Mine egen erfaring: Jeg har spist et par gange på restaurant Format og, det er en gastronomisk oplevelse som overstiger mine forventninger hver gang. Det gælder både maden og de vine som servere i restauranter. Der er kun et at sige, jeg er fan af Wills mad. Det er en restaurant som jeg varmt kan anbefale.

Lumskebugten

Restaurant Lumskebugten was founded in 1854 and is located in the center of Copenhagen.

It is a restaurant serving high-quality Danish smørrebrød for lunch. In the evening the restaurant runs a versatile a la carte card that follows the season for raw materials.

Restaurant Lumskebugten is also known for their Danish Christmas lunches in December which is very popular for private parties and companies.

My own experiences: In November 2017 I visited the restaurant, where I served several delicious dishes, where you could taste the detailsof the dishes. It is a restaurant that I can highly recommend.

In Danish: Restaurant Lumskebugten blev grundlagt i 1854 og den ligger i centrum af København.

Det er en restaurant som servere smørrebrød af høj kvalitet til frokost. Om aften kører restauranten med et alsidigt a la carte kort som følger sæsonen for råvarer.

Restaurant Lumskebugten er også kendt for deres julefrokoster i december måned, som er et tilløbsstykke for selskaber.

Mine egner erfaringer: I november 2017 besøgte jeg restauranten, hvor jeg fik serveret flere forskellige delikate og velsmagende retter, hvor du kunne smage de fine nuancer i de enkelte retter. Det er en restaurant som jeg varm kan anbefale.
